Question: Is there a correlation between grade level and sleep?
In these charts, the four high school grades are being compared to how much sleep each of them get.
The charts show that freshmen sleep the most while juniors and seniors sleep the least amount of time. This can be found by looking at the trends in the graphs. At around 8 hours, the freshman curve is at its highest point. The other three grades are all decreasing at this point and are lower than the freshman values of sleep. The maxes for junior and senior sleeping times are higher than the freshman amounts, but the freshman peak sleeping time is at a larger amount of time. Therefore, the statement can be made that throughout highschool, as your grade increases, your sleep time decreases.
